I am trying to record input in Wii Sports Resort on Dolphin 5.0, but when I try to enter a stage, I get an in-game error that says

"Could not access Wii system memory." (which doesn't appear when I'm not recording)

and from Dolphin receive the error message

"IOCTL_ES_LAUNCH: Game tried to reload a title that is not available in your NAND dump
TitleID 0000000100000002.
Dolphin will likely hang now."

If I save the recording and try to play it back, all I see is a black screen. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Just a heads up, we don't have Emulated Wii Remote+ support, so you can't record input for this game. It's trying to load the system menu, likely because the Blank NAND is missing some IOSes. I'd wait for NAND blobs or something like that to record Wii games in a stable manner, since you'd have a dedicated start point.

Thanks for the response. Any idea if Emulated Wii Motion + will be added to Dolphin in the future? Or these NAND blobs that you speak of?

Motion+ emulation was in a fork once, but it's way too unstable and finiky to be in Dolphin itself. The only way you're going to get motion+ is to use an actual motion+ wiimote and a sensorbar.. The Wii NAND can't be distributed with Dolphin iirc, but you can make a copy of the NAND from your real Wii so you have a full working NAND.

What JMC was talking about wasn't having the NAND files, it was making Dolphin save the NAND in a way that's different from how it does it right now. Though I'm not sure if that alone would fix the movie recording problems with the NAND...

Ah, right. Well, thanks for the correction. I'd just never heard of NAND blobs before.

I think it'd help with having a standardized start point for movies instead of a partial NAND.
