Cannot play Wii games with 360 controller

Hello. As soon as I get into the game (the menu) nothing works. The only button that will work is the left mouse click. It acts as a start button. Then it goes to the map after the intro and nothing works. Not the keyboard or the 360 pad, only the left mouse button and all that does is bring up 4 arrows.

I have fiddled with the Wiimote settings with no luck. Any ideas?
