For some reason, dolphin always get stuck on a black screen every time I try to run Metroid Prime Trilogy with D3D11.  OpenGL and D3D12 work fine, however.  What is wrong with D3D11?

That sounds like the 5.0-76 bug that makes Dolphin get stuck on a black screen when booting using (exclusive?) fullscreen with D3D11 for Wii games.

Is this going to be fixed?

It would be very strange if it wouldn't get fixed. I don't know when it will be fixed, though.

With Dolphin, it'll either get fixed or someone will remove D3D11 support. One or the other, no inbetween.

Well, I enabled "borderless fullscreen" with D3D11 and it still gets stuck on a black screen when booting any game.

I may have been wrong about there being a difference between borderless and exclusive fullscreen. Either way, not using fullscreen at all when booting will avoid the problem. You can turn it on again after booting.
