toshiba stack does not work with wii pair well at all IMO. Since you get the same error I'm convinced its an OS issue. just dont know what.

which bluetooth stack were you using before you installed toshiba? Wii Pair only works with the standard windows bluetooth stack.

also, could cou post a screenshot of the error you are getting with Wii Pair?

i'm going to pick up another bluetooth adapter today and try it. i'm also going to format and reinstall windows this weekend. this install is about 2 years old now, time to start fresh.

I've tested and can confirm that Wiipair output either "Connections timeout" or "Not authenticated", both in user and admin mode of CMD, when trying to pair the WiiMote permantentely. I use the original WiiMote, RVL-003.

I'm getting the exact same "Connections timeout" or "Not authenticated" error with both the Wii pair GUI and CMD Line versions and also with Wiimouse.

I'm also thinking this is an issue with the bluetooth adapter. If you get better results with a different adapter a link to where you purchased it would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck.
