toshiba stack does not work with wii pair well at all IMO. Since you get the same error I'm convinced its an OS issue. just dont know what.

Wii Pair only works with the standard windows bluetooth stack. i was originally using the the standard windows driver that installed when i first plugged my bluetooth adapter in. i will try to get a screen shot tonight. 11-30-2012, 03:48 AM
i'm going to pick up another bluetooth adapter today and try it. i'm also going to format and reinstall windows this weekend. this install is about 2 years old now, time to start fresh.

I've tested and can confirm that Wiipair output either "Connections timeout" or "Not authenticated", both in user and admin mode of CMD, when trying to pair the WiiMote permantentely. I use the original WiiMote, RVL-003.

I'm getting the exact same "Connections timeout" or "Not authenticated" error with both the Wii pair GUI and CMD Line versions and also with Wiimouse.
I'm also thinking this is an issue with the bluetooth adapter. If you get better results with a different adapter a link to where you purchased it would be greatly appreciated. Good luck.

i picked up an inland usb adapter, same results
i reformatted and reinstalled windows. it works now.
I knew it was an OS issue.
