I see the warning for graphic images, then it just goes black and nothing happens.

I will continue to see if I can figure this out on my own but if anyone can help me that'd be great.

Guess more details would be nice.

My computer is pretty beast.

Radeon 5850
quad core 3.0 ghz

I've followed the "how to run this game" guide for the RE, tweaking the settings and what not but didn't help.

Could it be the iso?
:o bump
bump.
fail at not being able to bump.

I've tried several revisions.

and its an amd 955. but I was just pointing out my system is fine, its something else...Just don't know what. Also tried two seemingly different isos.
Backpatch no support for operand size 2

this comes up sometimes. other times, nothing happens.

Try switching from Directx9 to opengl or whatever in the Plugin tab for configurations

i had a zelda windwaker game that didnt play right and i changed to directx9 ,, but first download the newest version from the link in that other thread on how to set up, worked for me.
change frame rate to automatic as well perhaps.
