Trying to connect my Wiimote to my Windows 10 PC and it will not connect, neither through windows Bluetooth connector, nor Dolphin's scanning. I am using an ASUS USB-BT400 Bluetooth dongle with the Toshiba bluetooth stack (though it didnt work with default windows anyway). Any help would be appreciated as i have tried the guides on the dolphin website, and tried posting to r/Dolphin-Emulator on reddit but they were of no help, and nothing seems to be working
Cannot connect Wiimote

ASUS BT-400 is a much used dongle that is verified to work with Windows (version shouldn't be an issue), with Microsoft bluetooth stack. At least I have not had problems with it. I really don't know what measures you should take with Toshiba stack, but Microsoft is pretty much plug and play. I did verify the first connection with my Wiimote with Windows "Add new bluetooth device" dialogue. You should see the Wiimote code on the list (RVL-CNT-01 or RVL-CNT-01-TR). You can "connect" this way, but it's no use to Dolphin, since it handles the connection by itself.
Is your Wiimote 1) A genuine Nintendo brand Wiimote? 2) Wiimote plus (usually -TR model) or a regular non-motion plus Wiimote? If it's a third party wiimote, you might be out of luck, since they are pretty much hit or miss. If it's a Nintendo Wiimote Plus make sure you are using one of the latest Dolphin development versions. They should work with with motion plus Wiimotes _even with Microsoft stack_ (!). These controllers require you to initiate the connection by pressing the red sync button inside the wiimote. Older wiimotes work by just pressing 1+2 (when you have continuous scanning selected in Dolphin settings). Also, make sure you have Wiimote 1 set as "Real Wiimote" in Dolphin controller settings. 01-28-2016, 04:18 AM

It is definitely a real wiimote, and it's not motion plus (though i will be using the adapter on the end of the wiimote for motion+ games, though it isn't connected at moment) 01-28-2016, 04:21 AM
