The wiki for this game says:

Backpatch Error - No Support for Operand Size 1

Enter the final door to the Magnus Giganticus boss (in Mystical Garden). Crash with errors:
*"BackPatch - no support for operand size 1"
*"Read from invalid memory region (0x79edb2da)"

So my question is, do this happens everytime you want to fight the boss "Magnus Giganticus" or the crash is random?

Edit: For some reason i was thinking that "Magnus Giganticus" was the last boss of this game, i still want to know if the crash is random tho.

That issue was reported almost three years ago. It's quite possible that the newest revisions play this game just fine, although that's not necessarily a given. This deserves to be tested though, since no one else has done it yet. Perhaps you could find out and contribute to the community Wink

I always wanted to play this one but i think i gonna start with Tales of Symphonia first =p

Anyway if that crash is fixed then the Wiki page needs to be updated.

I played the whole game without any crash one year ago. On windows you might crash in shops if you have photos magnus, this can be worked around by disabling dual core support when going in shops.

I see thanks for clearing that out.
It would be nice if someone updated the wiki page with that info about photos magnus crashing in shops and with the workaround trick you just said.

Done Wink .

The reason why I hadn't changed this is that it MAY or MAY NOT happen. Random crashes...

It happens consistently on Windows here, and at least 3-4 people have reported the same issue on the bug tracker. It's not really random.

Well with 3.0 it was. Haven't replayed the game with recent builds though

So someone should test this game with recent Dolphin revisions Tongue
