Okay, this is an oddity, but here me out. The situation is, I use DefenderX's ICC builds (which I HIGHLY recommend). After revision 600, there were some core changes where emulation speed slowed down but compatibility picked up. For games like F-Zero GX, I get 100% speed all the time in build 600, but cannot get 100% on every track in build 750 (Defender X's latest build). The solution is simply: use build 600
However, Tales of Symphonia has a strange sound popping issue in build 600. I have tried every possible solution I can think of (drivers, windows sound settings, etc..) but the only solution is to use build 750 (which corrects the sound issue). However, once again, build 750 takes a fairly respectable performance hit; something like 5-10 FPS by my testing in F-Zero GX.
So, is possible to combine the graphics and speed of build 600, and use the audio of build 750?
