Can Wii games access gamecube saves?

I'm currently playing Fire Emblem Path of Radiance in GC mode in Dolphin. I'm contemplating buying the Wii sequel Radiant Dawn. One of the main features is being able to load a completed gamecube game and using it to start a new game with updated stats. Is it possible for Wii games running in dolphin to access a gamecube save file? Thanks!

id say so as long as you have the old save in dolphin

I wouldn't hold my breath for it; There's no reason I can think of why it wouldn't work, but stuff like that (not tested particularly often) tends to either work or not.
