I found this pre-owned Toshiba laptop for $200.00, and am wondering if it's good enough to play Brawl Minus (a mod of Smash Bros. Brawl) via Netplay.

It would be nice if it can run other Wii and Gamecube games too, but Minus Netplay is mainly what I'm interested in at the moment.

I'd also like to know if this laptop can handle video editing -- I've got some old VHS video I've been meaning to back up.

Specs here. Graphics processor is an Intel HD Graphics 5500.

I'm saving up for a real gaming laptop, but I thought this might make a decent "stepping stone" until I get something much better.

I've actually already got enough to afford a nice gaming laptop, but I'm waiting for that elusive "excellent value price", ha.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

It is an ultra low power 6th gen GPU (6200U) which might be to slow to play more heavy weight games... But Brawl is quite light on the system... so it might do well... I don't know about the iGPU though

Or just keep saving and then go buy the gaming laptop once and for all.

Yeah, you might also be better of with a Clevo build in which you can specify what you want in a laptop and they are usually a lot cheaper (my Laptop/see profile is one of those)...
