It doesn't, it simply shows you that OCing is an option. It was your mistake assuming I don't know the risks of OCing, without asking.
@ Asus G73JH-TZ034V comment, wow your laptop went from 1.6 GHZ to 3.2 GHZ, that is pretty amazing . Feed your lies to people that don't know anything about computers please. BTW that laptop is the most overpriced piece of garbage in the entire planet, so have fun with your hotbox haha.
Edit: here's A post you've made yourself:
g73jh
So i have an asus G73jh

Thought i was talking to people who knew things about computer but by your statement i can rule you out.
1st : Why you gotta hate?
2nd : Yes it is over priced if you pay what normal people pay fortunately enough i got it for $800 on craigslist with a 120 force SSD and 2gig extra ram installed... So got a pretty sweet deal on it. (and that was a year ago)
3rd : POS lappy? being that my PC would bend yours over a barrel and %$# it. I'm going to have to disagree.. again. every game Crysis2, BF3, Fear 3, STALKER... shit you name it and Ive rocked it out with max settings, so having a portable gaming rig that can literally run any game at max setting for $800 makes it a POS then yeah i guess your right.
And finally the PROOF that you don't know shit.
So an i7 has this thing called turbo boost. While it says it is an i7-720qm clocked at 1.72 the cores clock differently while using different programs. for instance if i was to use just one core it would clock at about 3.2..... two cores around 2.8 each and four cores its 1.72
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Turbo_Boost
And that's not even true because thats before the OC tech installed in the PC.
This is of course unless CPUZ and throttlestop are both lying to me. because i doubt that i could get 100% playability with kirby return to dream land on a 1.72
Which bring me back to post #1 why you gotta talk shit. These forums are for talking and asking questions Providing feedback ETC. Not trolling.
And before i kick this out, Yes im aware that i could of build a SMOKING desktop for $800 and i could of (getting across that i don't lack the knowledge of how to do so, its not like its hard) but i wanted a lappy. Next build here in about a year will be a new PC
