Hi, I'm close to purchasing this thing:
HP G72-B67US Notebook PC.
Specs are as follows:
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-460M Processor 2.53GHz with Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.80 GHz
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics with up to 1695MB total graphics memory
Memory: 4GB DDR3 RAM
Display: 17.3” diagonal High Definition(8) HP BrightView LED Display (1600 x 900)
Hard Drive: 500GB (7200RPM) Hard Drive (SATA)

I guess my question is if it has sufficient oomph to get me playing Metroid Other M, the No more Heroes Games and Galaxy's 1 and 2. The laptop is otherwise not intended for gaming just regular use you could say, so I don't care if it's not a "Gaming Machine" so long as it can get me half-decent to slightly better than half-decent performance of Dolphin Wii Emulation. Any and all assistance with this issue will be appreciated. Thanks!

Some games can run good...but not all games...
2 reasons...the video card is integrated....and the processor is dual core (core i5)...

That was my main concern, the integrated graphics... I usually hear that Intel integrated graphics are a no-no for gaming but to my amateur eyes the Core I5 processor seems like it should be able to run it. But I guess the best way to know is to buy it and see for myself. I'm taking the plunge. Thanks guys!

I have an HP Pavilion dv7 laptop, and you can see from the specs in my sig that it's not far off from the one you're considering.

Most Gamecube games run in the 80-90% for me, including Prince of Persia and Metroid Prime. Star Fox Adventures is all over the map, sometimes at 90%, others at 40%.

Wii is a different matter altogether. Galaxy and DKCR run at 40-50%. Even Kirby's Epic Yarn has dragging moments. Animal Crossing Wii goes at playable 80-90% luckily.
Specs:
Intel Core i5 M460 @2.53GHz
8GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon 5470
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
