If you aren't comfortable building your own for a lower price, that would be fine. The liquid cooling system in it should allow for a very good overclock.

Per the overview, the CPU is a 3570k, but where can I build a PC better than that for that price?

Or local hardware store + your hands.

Microcenter sold the processor and mobo for cheaper than Newegg would for me.

the thing with buying a pre built build, is you pay for labor, companies like alienware, you paying for the brand, also alot of people dont include the price of windows in their build, where pre built computers usually include retail software (more expencive than OEM)

Microcenter has an ongoing deal where you can get an i5 3570K for $189 (which is cheaper than Newegg), and on top of that a deal where buying an i5 2500K/3570K will net you $50 off of a Z77 board. I ended up saving about $80 I think buying there.

No. It is a deal they always offer. A sale is a one-time thing, this is just one of the combos that they sell all of the time.
