Hey i was playing Metroid Prime 1(GM8P01) no problems at all with rc-34 and went to play Metroid Prime 2 : echoes(G2MP01) and noticed that when using the scan visor you cant scam every thing that your meant to able to do to test i tried rc-33 and rc-32 still having the same issue then 4.0-8050 and no problems there worked as it was meant to. i would have cone further revisions back then rc-32 is hopes to fine the point as to when the bug occurred but there was no option to do so. just thought you might want to know there is an issue was all

EDIT: just changed the Backend from D3D to OpenGL in rc-34 and the problem wasn't there so just seems to be a Problem with the D3D backend

And this has no place in the release candidate thread. *waves her magic moderator wand* There, now it's its own thread!

Anyway, to answer this, EFB to Texture does not work with the Scan Visor in Metroid Prime 2 and 3. You need to use EFB to Ram. This is on the wiki pages for the game...

I think the problem here is some AA weirdness in directx.Fitzy87 said he can't scan everything, so i think scanning works for something, which means efb2ram is already on, most likely forced by the game.ini.

So long story short: Does it work with AA off in directx?
