I can't seem to get my DS4 to work. I've copied the button layout from here: http://i.imgur.com/lf3rhI1.png

Oddly enough, I made it past the [Press Any Button] Screen to:

New Game/Load Game/Options and could cycle between the three with the directional buttons but couldn't select anything.

I exited and messed around in the controller config again, now I can't even get past Press Any Button. Everything works in the Pad Configuration Menu but in-game I get nothing now. Actually I can't anything to respond in Pad Configuration right now either lol.

Should I just bite the bullet and use a Wii/GC controller instead?

Really lost, what am I doing wrong? Running the latest OS if that matters.

Xenoblade Chronicles.

So I've been bouncing back and forth between Dolphin 4.0 and 5.0, no difference. I am able to see button presses registering in the controller config though.

I might just get a GC adapter and controller...this is a headache lol.

You've configured an emulated GameCube controller, which Xenoblade Chronicles doesn't support. Configure an emulated Wiimote with a Classic extension controller instead.

Ok, thank you. But what's a Classic Extension Controller? Is that an entirely different device? I'll mess around with emulated Wiimote settings for a bit.

When configuring an emulated Wiimote, there's a dropdown called Extension in the third column from the right. Change it from None to Classic. (The actual name for it is Classic Controller, but the controller settings window just calls it "Classic" for brevity.)

Ohh I see what you mean. So switch it to classic then click on configure beneath it?

So I'm configuring under classic and can't get button presses to register after remapping them. Any ideas?

It's working, thanks a ton!
