Can't run dolphin.exe

I've downloaded the latest build, and put it all the files onto a folder on my desktop called "Dolphin". Now whenever I double click the dolphin.exe file nothing happens. I haven't found a solution from searching yet, every thread I've read had a similar problem except an error popped up. For me, when I double click the .exe, no popup window appears, no errors, there's no process of it running on my computer. It's almost as if I haven't clicked it. I've tried other builds to see if it worked, and so far nothing works. I've got a pretty good computer, and this is the first time I couldn't open a file.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

I've restarted my computer and checked to see if anything was corrupted during the download. I am still not able to open dolphin.exe. Any help would be great. Sad

Sorry, forgot to mention that I've tried running as admin already. Changing compatibility also didn't work.

None of those issues in the FAQ section didn't really fit my problem description, but I tried going through some of them and somehow the first heading, "This application has failed to start because VCOMP100.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem" fixed my problem. I just needed to download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (which I thought I had already downloaded). Everything seems to be working nicely for now.

Thanks! Big Grin
