Can't Record Direct3D with Dxtory without Real XFB

So right now I'm trying to record (or even play) Dolphin with Dxtory and, when I do, unless Real XFB is enabled I only get blackness and whiteness where textures ought to be.

With Real XFB enabled it can view as normal, but obviously I can't upscale with that.

OpenGL seems to work just fine.

I'm using Dxtory 2.0.129 and this was tested on 4.0-6982 as well as the default public version.

Interestingly, this happens alongside Dxtory's hook into the game. Even if I'm not recording, if Dxtory hooks into the process it ceases to display textures and only displays blackness and whiteness. I have verified this by hooking Dxtory after opening Dolphin and starting a game - before the hook everything displays fine, after the hook it breaks.

Could it be tied to my SLI setup or something else?

Do your cards support Nvidia Shadowplay? because that would be less demanding on your computer.

Shadowplay isn't perfect--most importantly, unlike Dxtory or FRAPS, the video it outputs is compressed, and it looks noticeably washed-out. On that note, does the same issue occur with FRAPS?
