Overall, it should be graphics drivers problem. They should be up-to-date.

Yeah that is true, but I figured that since he wasn't reporting any problems loading the DirectX based plugins that his DirectX was already updated. However DirectX shouldn't affect the OpenGL Plugin/Renderer, the error he reported is common with outdated graphics card drivers and possibly but not definite, not having the correct Visual C++ redistributable installed or not having it installed at all.. 04-20-2009, 03:48 AM
i had the same problem with an other game... well, actually the only game i have as an iso...
it's all about the "Enable Dual Core"-Option i had to check the box in order to work (not the square, but the check - there are three options and i don't get why - either it's enabled or not, right? edit: oh... you just have to read hehe) i'm new to this board so maybe i'm not telling something new, but for me it worked 04-21-2009, 02:55 AM
Ok you have the same settings as me.I had that problem but when I downloaded 2107 it workt so here is what you have to do.Download 2971 I think That was the new you download the new one on the download site. Now enable dual core disable idle skiper and cheat.then open opengl settings disable auto scale and disable real XFB.Then leave enabled Native resolution
and put Anisotropic on 16x.That soud make it go. |
