Can't open games when activating OpenGL ES

Hi

I have a rooted LG G2. Whenever I activate OpenGL ES (under Video Backend), I can't open any games. As far as I know, games should run much smoother with this activated? When I open a game, it closes after 2 seconds. I have tried running the commands mentioned in the post 'OpenGL ES 3 Guide' which hasn't made any difference. In addition I have tried searching around the forums and google for a solution, but I seem to be the only one having this issue.

Thank you

There is a bug involving Qualcomm's video drivers and the current release on the Android market.
I've got a workaround in place in the development versions but the market hasn't been updated yet.
This is another bug from Qualcomm's already buggy drivers.

Alright, thank you for the heads up!

That means, it should work in one of the development versions ?
Please, can you recommend which of all released branches it is ?
I've tested many of the released "master" versions. I'm aware of the fact, that the buildbot was broken some time.
But every version, I tested on my LG G2, resumed emediatly to the game select screen, if the OpenGLES backend is selected.

Another bug seems to affect the Nexus 7 (2013). I can select the ROM path, but if I go to the games directory, it is empty.

Please, can you link a version, since .427 (last working), that should have fixed the problem ?

Thank you.

Not really, just tested the latest "master" 4.0-611. Nothing has changed. Tested with 3 GC games, that are known working on .427.
