In current beta version 5.0-13178, I am able to mount games from the Root directory, / . However, in the latest nightly, it defaults to the Home directory (the one with Documents, Downloads, etc), and I cannot go up the directory tree any further. This is causing an issue for me, as I'm manually mounting a directory there from another partition. It works perfectly in beta version, but not in latest nightly. Is there any way to manually set the path for game ISOs?

Thank you

(By the Home directory, I'm assuming you mean the emulated external storage?)

Yes, the same update made it possible to edit the game list paths manually. Open /sdcard/dolphin-emu/Config/Dolphin.ini, increment ISOPaths (under [General]) by 1, and set ISOPath0 (with the 0 replaced by the previous value of ISOPaths) to the path you want. If you've already added a game list path that you don't want, you can just replace that path instead.

Warning: If you are using Android 11 or newer, this will stop working with a Dolphin update in November due to Scoped Storage.

But will scoped storage prevent me from running games from sd card?

Thanks for this I’ll try it.

If it stops working in November, what do I do then? Or will there be another fix?

Supposedly you can force disable scoped storage for an app using adb, but I haven't tried it.

Update to say your fix worked perfectly. I'm using a Nintendo Switch running Android (which is a great device for Dolphin, btw), and I can mount the FAT32 partition of the SD card to the storage /mnt/switchsd, which is so much more convenient because file transfers are much faster to that partition and I don't have to make a large Android partition on my SD card this way.
