Let me explain why I did it before I move on. Typically when you install Dolphin, a new folder appears on Documents called 'Dolphin Emulator', which is saved on my SSD or (C
. My problem is that I ran out of memory on my SSD, so I decided to move my games and the 'Dolphin Emulator' folder from 'Documents' to my HDD or (D
. The emulator works fine, and so do the games. However, I'm unable to load the custom textures after I moved the folders. The box is ticked in, but when I hover over it, I realize it says 'Load custom textures from User/Load/Textures/<game_id>/.' Is there anything that I can do to load custom textures while the 'Dolphin Emulator' folder stays in my HDD rather than in my SSD?
I followed this guide to change my global directory if it helps. 'https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/cont..._Directory'
Here are my specs:
Dolphin 5.0-6809 x64
Windows 10 x64
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060
Intel Core i7 7700k @ 2.80GHz
16GB DDR4
