can't get the movement keys to work

I'm tryin to play donkey kong country returns, but on my ps2 controller it doensn't let me bind the movement keys. I tried setting up for my keyboard and mouse and suprisingly without even seeing where W,A,S,D is bound it works to move donkey around with w,a,s,d.

Is there some option i can't find?
please help
