So, I can bind one of my 360's buttons to left tilt and it will work, with the red dot sliding indicating success, but for some reason, it's not the same on right tilt.

Just, for some odd reason it won't work :i. This is using Sideways Wiimote.

This is primarily for Epic Yarn, I'm at the point where you must use the robot tank thing to continue through the level, and I require the ability to aim up and down, this is only doable through tilting the sideways wiimote left or right.

Any suggestions?

I think that it could be a bug, as I can confirm its only to the right that it won't tilt properly.

Here's my setup that I've been using with Epic Yarn. Take that code and paste into a blank .ini in the Documents>Dolphin Emulator>Config>Profiles>Wiimote, and save. Then open the emulated Wiimote and look at the configure to see how the buttons are laid out (my roommate and I came up with this when playing 2 player mode)
Spoiler:
[Profile]
Device = XInput/0/Gamepad
Buttons/A = `Shoulder R`
Buttons/B = `Trigger R`
Buttons/1 = `Button A`
Buttons/2 = `Button B`
Buttons/- = Back
Buttons/+ = Start
IR/Up = `Right Y+`
IR/Down = `Right Y-`
IR/Left = `Right X-`
IR/Right = `Right X+`
IR/Hide = `Shoulder L` | `Pad N` | `Pad S` | `Pad W` | `Pad E`
Tilt/Forward = `Left Y+`
Tilt/Backward = `Left Y-`
Tilt/Left = `Left X-`
Tilt/Right = `Left X+`
Tilt/Modifier = `Thumb L`
Shake/X = `Trigger L`
Shake/Y = `Trigger L`
Shake/Z = `Trigger L`
D-Pad/Up = `Pad N`|`Left Y+`
D-Pad/Down = `Pad S`|`Left Y-`
D-Pad/Left = `Pad W`|`Left X-`
D-Pad/Right = `Pad E`|`Left X+`
Options/Sideways Wiimote = 1.000000

Wait, so, it needs the modifier? I'm confused about this, as I actually had tried a similar setup regarding tilt left and tilt right.

Whoa, I actually figured it out almost immediately after posting this. It requires tilt up and tilt down to work properly if using the thumbstick. Huh.

However this poses a problem, should I use the D-Pad for movement, I can't win if I need to use a thumbstick. I'll test more now.

Alright, so I've concluded that with this config:

That it does in fact work both left and right using Ltrigger and Rtrigger respectively. That's weird, it requires thumbstick bindings to read right tilt input. Of course there could be more, or less, to this.

It basically just needs an axis, which the triggers also are.

Yeah, we have the D-pad and Left stick as movement, and using the left stick for tilting.
