Hello there,

So the issue is simple; The controller will not work in game. It does work when I set it up. Screenshots:

It's in dutch, but basically:
I have it on standard controller, it's on port 1 and you can see the ps4 controller is recognized because of the red dots. When I move my analoge sticks, they move too. When I press my buttons, they light up. In short, dolphin does recognize the controller.

However, everytime I start up Xenoblade Chronicles, I cannot get the controller to work. I've tried a lot of things, but nothing works.

Any idea as to what the problem could be?

The problem is that you've set it up as a GameCube controller but Xenoblade Chronicles doesn't support GameCube controllers. You need to use an emulated Wii Remote, preferably with a Classic Controller as the extension. (Nunchuk also works as the extension, but it's less straightforward to map to a PS4 controller.)

Fml stupid me, you're totally right. I remember using a classic controller back when I had a Wii, but I totally forgot you gotta plug it into the wiimote instead of the Wii itself.

It works now, thank you!
