I have three wiimote pluses (the ones with Wiimotion Plus bundled in, that is). A wireless sensor and this bluetooth USB dongle:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EBE1LI/ref=wms_ohs_product

I had 'em working at my gf's computer a while back, just for testing sake tho, like 6 months ago. Her computer is not so good so I was just playing around, it worked alrite, seeing the wiimote really working on the emulator really amazed me. Then I ended up forgetting about it, and yesterday I decided to kick this project again, on my (not so) new build.

Its a:
i5 2500K @4.6Ghz (Corsair H80 cooler)
16GB 1600MHz 8-8-8-4 G. Skill
AsRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3
HD 6950 2GB

I just bought the extra 8gb of memo, I may be switching the video card soon, maybe for a 7950 but Im still pondering rly.

So I get this dongle in there, first thing I notice is that windows doesnt quite recognize it if I put it in the front USB 3.0 port. It is recognized alrite on the front USB 2.0 port tho... at least most times. Now, if I select the bluetooth on my taskbar and "add a device", I can see the Wiimote popping up there (and my wireless kb and some phones), but when I try to pair it up on Dolpin, it just doesnt happen to me.

Now, Im not sure if its my mobo thats f*cked up, my dongle, my wiimotes (tomorrow Im' a dust off my Wii and check if the Wiimotes are still working, they traveled some and hadnt been used for a while, I'll get back to u guys on that in no time... ) or if Im just plain doing something wrong. But by as per instructions on dolphin wiki, it's rly not working.

Heelp plz

The thing is I get the HID Devide Detected windows message and all... but the lights just keep on flashing and nothing happens!!! It doesnt get assigned P1, P2 or whatever... nor its detected as 1 wiimote connected on Dolphin.

I don't know if this is relevant but I found a list of bluetooth dongles compatible and non-compatible with the wiimote.
http://wiibrew.org/wiki/List_of_Working_Bluetooth_Devices

But that's probably not the case. The pairing process can be a tad fiddly. Hold 1+2 and click pair, once you get 'HID device ready' hit pair up again and it should connect, if not hit refresh after the second HID device is ready.

The driver should install automatically when you plug the dongle in but I have no idea what different types do ^^, glad its working.
