I'm trying to play Gauntlet Dark Legacy and I enabled the 60fps code that's already included in the cheats section. I read online that people have played it in 60fps with no issues, but all i GET are issues.
First, when i enable the code, my character suddenly starts moving in slow motion. I read online that setting the emulators CPU overclock to 400% makes it function right, and while that DOES fix the character slow mo issue, it just causes a new problem of the rest of the game (enemies, worlds, items, etc) now moving like its fast forwarded and running too fast, making playing the game impossible to keep up with.
I also read somewhere that setting the fps limiter to 120fps also helps make it function, but I can't find an option for that. I read a post where someone mentioned that the fps limiter now functions as the emulation speed setting instead, but messing with that setting has helped nothing, only caused audio glitches.
So how can i get the damn game to function at normal speeds all around with the 60 fps code enabled???
