Can't delete Dolphin files

I've been getting all kinds of bizarre performance issues lately & had decided on deleting/reinstalling, but I can't delete the Dolphin.exe, msvcp120.dll, msvcr120.dll & OpenAL32.dll as they are all 'open in Dolphin.exe'
In Windows task manager there are two Dolphin .exe's open neither of which can be ended & are still open even after rebooting.

Anyone know what is going on & how to fix?

Where did you get Dolphin? It sounds like you have a virus of some sort, because there is no way that Dolphin would set itself to run at startup. Try booting in Safe Mode to see if you can delete Dolphin, and check msconfig to look for suspicious startup programs. Delete the startup entries in the registry as well as the programs themselves, and you just might solve the problem. If everything comes back, you'll need to do some serious antivirus work to try to contain the problem. If that doesn't work, you'll probably have to reformat your system drive.

I have no idea what is happening. Follow http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windo...=windows-7 but select "open location" (don't have Windows - not sure quite what it says) instead of clicking "open". Then, proceed to remove anything suspicious from there as anything in that folder will run when the computer is turned on. Reboot and hopefully your wacky stuff will no longer be running and Dolphin or "Dolphin" can be deleted.

If that fails, create a Linux-bootable DVD or alternatively use a memory stick. From there you should be able to delete whatever you want without any Windows stuff getting in the way. Tutorials for that should be up on the web - contact me if you need any help following this route, should you have to (let's hope not!).

sounds like a virus. did you download individual DLL files? bad. very bad. where did you download dolphin from?
