I play most of the latest games, plus dolphin Smile I currently have a XFX 9600 GSO....

The two gpu's I'm stuck inbetween are : EVGA GTS 450 SuperClocked and EVGA GTX 460 SE

The GTS 450 SC beats the GTX 460 in all specs except the memory interface and bandwidth, the 450 is 128 bit with a 60.8 GB/Sec while the 460 is 256 bit with a 108.8 GB/Sec..Also the 460 has about 90 more stream processors...

The 450 SC costs $110, while the GTX 460 is $150....My question is, is it worth another $40 for more memory bandwidth and more processors for Dolphin ?

GTS 450 SC

And pixel throughput, tessellation throughput, vertex fillrate, texture fillrate.

Either buy the GTX 460 SE or save up for something better (which is what I would do, either a GTX 460 1GB edition or a GTX 560).

GTX 460 SE (Standard Edition) or (suck edition...) is the crippled version of a real GTX 460.

This one here http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6807947&CatId=28 is the real gtx 460 that doesn't suck, but it only has 768MB. If you don't planning on playing at 1920 x 1080 resolution or higher with every settings max out, then I'd suggest you get this one instead. However, the 1gb is really worth it in my opinion and also faster too.

The 32 ROPs in the 1GB edition will still help you achieve a higher pixel throughput regardless of whether the extra vdram is used (it won't be, even at 1920 x 1200).

I repeat my advice from earlier:
Quote:Either buy the GTX 460 SE or save up for something better (which is what I would do, either a GTX 460 1GB edition or a GTX 560).

Use this thread and see if it help you in any way. http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=14201 The Core i3/i5/i7 greatly exaggerate the fps in the graph because they're so damn powerful than my Core 2 processor! My MSi GTX 460 is on there as well and my new GPU (MSi R6950). As you can see, I'm CPU limited with a AMD HD 6950...the gpu is faster/stronger than my CPU that's why the fps score is the same at 1x-3x efb scale.
