Tested in SP2, same error.

SP2, disabled Kaspersky from the system startup and obviously restarted. Ran dolphin and... Same error.

Disabled all of the security programs, tried updating the DirectX SDK, the Graphics and Sound drivers. No result, same error.

Looks like there is something going on in here.

Edit: Forgot to tell, there is an entry in Add/Remove programs. You can uninstall SP3 from there and roll back to SP2.

that's only available if you installed SP3 through the update Smile (not if it came merged with the Windows XP cd Smile)

Yeap, as I said in my previous post, it won't let you uninstall SP3 because it can't roll back to a previous version *sigh*

And as I said, I don't recommend trying to uninstall a service pack to an older one because it can cause problems and make your system unstable. It's only recommended if the service pack has caused major problems and you're left with no other choice. And even then, most people end up having to reinstall windows because the rollback caused more problems than fixed them. I'm sure there is someone that will say they rolled back a service pack once and it worked fine. Believe me you were lucky.

I only had the SP3 with no updates. So it was basically just the SP3, i keep my Windows Updater disabled. As the updates tend to slow down my computer and waste space on my HDD. I only have an 80GB HDD, so im very limited.

Also, it looks like this XP came with a backup of SP2, since it gave me the option to uninstall SP3.

About HDD space, i'm already running short. I had 0 bytes of free space 3 minutes ago and im still trying to keep it from crashing.

wow >_>, you're putting your computer at risk (since most of those updates are for security issues that antivirus' don't handle)

wow xD, i have a 120GB HD partitioned into 2 drives (one for xp and the other for win7), and i'm also running low on space (i've also been deleting unnecessary stuff Tongue), so instead of having my games as isos, i just burn them onto a disc (that way i can also carry them wherever i go Tongue, and just leave the original at home xP)

Well, i just found out the error. It is some kind of weird virus that injects itself into processes changing their memory values and causing them to crash\lack required stuff.

I also disabled the advanced text features for Dolphin Tongue I heard it can prevent errors like the "Failed to grab 1GB of Memory".

Looks like i need a Blu-Ray Drive. Brawl is too big to carry on a DVD Tongue

Anyways, i only have four games for Dolphin: Starfox Assault, Starfox Adventures, SSBB (Smash Brothers Brawl) and SSBM (Smash Brothers Melee).
