Hi

I figured this way after spending the whole day trying to make it work and I hope it will help everyone making their wiimotes works .

Do the usual :
1- Use BlueSoleil ( doesn't matter which ver ) and connect your wiimote .
2- Download this GlovePIE .
3- after installing Wiimote hardware and connecting it , open GlovePIE and hit "Run". ( you don't have to load script or anything )
4- Launch Dolphin , and play , make sure that you choose real wiimote.

I hope this help developers of dolphine in figuring out what does make wiimote to stop respone after 5 sec of starting games. And what does GlovePIE do in making it responed.

I don't know if it will work with MS bluetooth , but probably not , as Dolphin could not detect wiimote in first place.

Tested on win 7 x64
Goodluck.

Is there any way to get the bluesoleil software without paying so much for it? I'd hate to pay for it and dolphin still not work. Thanks!

Bluesoleil is useable with limiteds , I use ver 6.2 it won't let you send more than 5MB of data, otherwise it's free , for ver 8. the limit is narrowed to 2MB , if you have bundled Bluetooth dapter , you don't need to pay , I bought mine for 5$ was bundled with 6.2.
Bluesoliel suck , I had to unistall Toshiba stack in order to make this stupid stick swing -_- nothing seems to work perfectly under windows 7.

After getting your wiimote connected through Bluesoliel , open GlovePIE and hit run , then open dolphin , hit wiimote > Refresh , it should vibrate .

It's working everytime with me o_O , it might won't work if you launch dolphin before hitting Run on GlovePIE. Close and relaunch dolphin again.

I hope it will work with you.

If this works for you can you explain me how I could resolve the issue that Dolphin says it only used the windows bluetooth stack?

I beleive that if you are using , XP ,or 32 bit , you can use MS stack ... Maybe , Dolphin can use any stack , as I have seen people managed to get it with MS , Toshiba and bluesoliel , for Windows 7 , you might have to use bluesoliel.

You never need to press "Pair" , press refresh dirctly, after doing the above steps . Or just launch the game , the wiimote will vibrate , stop blinking and change to one light on , on player "1".

If you didn't hit run on GlovePIE you will lose connection with the wiimote after 5 seconds of launching the game.

I'm a total newb when it comes to Dolphin and never really played around with bluetooth to any degree despite being in the IT field for most of my life, HOWEVER, this is what I have noticed in the past week or two of trying to get controllers working:

1. I originally bought two chinese/generic controller with nunchucks and motionplus built-in off of Ebay. Using the drivers that came with the dongle I bought at the local Microcenter, I was able to easily pair them up in Windows....no problem.

2. Using the same config, I was also fairly easily able to connect a controller in dolphin. (i.e. vibrates when I hit refresh).

3. No matter what, the controller never worked right once in a game...most of the time, not at all in any way.

4. I borrowed a genuine controller and was able to use it the first time I tried and it seemed to work nearly flawlessly. HOWEVER, I tried again the next day and had issues with firstly, Windows actually installing the HID drivers (failed right at this point if I disconnected and reconnected...several attempts were made including a reboot). Once I even got this point, I found that Dolphin would not see the wiimote again.

This is Windows 7 Ult 32-bit. Very clean, updated install at that.

Based on this, I am wondering if one MUST use the above steps and also wonder what the difference is between the generic controllers and the genuine in this application.

The generic controllers send different data to the Wii. For whatever reason the Wii recognizes it correctly but this different data was never emulated into Dolphin until very recently.
Main Laptop:
Dell XPS 17
i7 2720QM @ 2.2GHz
8GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia GeForce GT 555M
Windows 7 64-bit

My wiimote is chineese too , or that what I think , nothing in the box written in English except Nintendo , when I use it with MS stack , paird seccussfuly , but couldn't get dolphin to recgoniz at all , I hit pair , it install HID deriver , nothing happen after , I pair again , I hear device plugged sound , install HID , and still nothing , I click pair again same story goes forever.

When I showed hidden devices in Devices manager , I found about 7 HID devices for wiimote.

Maybe chineese wiimote not compatible with dolphine ?

Finaly I got it to work by doing the above , by coincidence.
