I got my usb bluetooth dongle today and I haven not managed to connect my Wiimote to dolphin at all. Using Bluesoliel, my Wiimote was detected, but it connected automatically, no driver installation popped up, and Dolphin could not detect my Wiimote.

The driver for my wiimote was labeled as "HID complaint Joystick, with a code (10) error, which means that the device wouldn't work. I uninstalled this device and the bluetooth dongle, and reconnected the dongle, only to have it recognized by the computer. It currently has two drivers, one named " Generic Bluetooth Adaptar" and the other named " Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator".

A small bluetooth icon appeared on the bottom of the taskbar, and I right clicked it and selected " add a new device". However, the computer could not pick up my wiimote at all. Uninstalling the bluetooth drivers does nothing as they just get reinstalled again as soo n as i reconnect the bluetooth dongle, so I'm wondering if I somehow broke it.

Is there anywayt o fix this? Currently running Windows 7 64 bit.

I also bought a Bluetooth dongle today from my local pc store, and my computer can only find the Wii Controller with the drivers installed that came with the the dongle (Same as Xhacker Bluesoliel). The standard Microsoft drivers cannot not locate it and it is driving me absolutely mad. However I do not have the same problem as Xhacker with "HID complaint Joystick, with a code (10) error" mine still comes up with the "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01" but only in the drivers.

Thank you in advance

Regards

The first time i read your problem i was kinda clueless about how to "solve" your problem but after reading it through a couple of times it hit me. Your drivers aren't doing anything wrong and actually you dont have a problem, you just seem to have forgotten something. As far as i know (and im not entirely sure, but i think so) it is completely normal behavior for the drivers to be shown if they are installed, even though they aren't currently being used.

In other words, the drivers are installed, but your Wiimote is switched off. The lights aren't blinking or flashing are they?

If that is the case, just open up Dolphin, go to the Wiimote plugin, press button 1 and 2 on your wiimote at the same time and click "Pair up real wiimotes". An automatic installation of drivers should begin, when this is done, press "Refresh". Your wiimote should vibrate now, if so, it is connected.

Remember to set Input Source to "Real Wii Remote"

@Xhacker

I'm afraid i dont know how to solve your problemSad

I managed to keep the wiimote connected with Bluesoleil, However dolphin does not detect the wiimote at all. The blue lights are constantly flashing on the wiimote, but nothing happens when I choose to pair up or refresh in the Dolphin wiimote menu, with real wii remote checked.

Hmm....i see, were the LED (the lights on the Wiimote) flashing BEFORE you pressed the "pair up" button" or after?

If they were flashing before, you need to turn off your wiimote by holding the power button on the wiimote until the LED stop flashing, then start up Dolphin and try to connect the wiimote again.

I dont know exactly what to do if the (constant?) flashing appeared after you pressed the pair up button, but try doing the same as above. You can always check wheter the wiimote is connected or not by left clicking on the wiimote option; if you are connnected, wiimote should vibrate.

I uninstalled Bluesoleil and tried the Microsoft Bluetooth stack, however, on my computer the software never seems to detect any bluetooth devices at all. Connecting the USB bluetooth dongle to my laptop will detect the wiimote fine, but on my desktop the add a device feature just stats on "searching for devices" without finding the wiimote at all.

Try using toshiba's bluetooth stack. I couldnt get the wiimote to work with ms' default stack and didnt want to bother using bluesoleil as ive heard some bad reviews about it. toshiba's stack worked perfectly detected as nintendo, opened dolphin and didnt even have to pair it, just hit refresh and the wiimote vibrated and changed controller number.

I downloaded updates for windows, and now my bluetooth stick is working perfectly. Thanks for the help in resolving this issue, and I will consider the Toshiba stack in the event that any other problems arise.
