Can't change emulated wiimote dolphin controls ;-; iCryEveryDay®

Wiimote is automatically set to (persay) "A" being Click 0 which doesn't even work when I try them in my game, along withy any of the other controls that are default. ;C So I tried changing the controls, but when I try, the controls don't change! What I've been doing is holding left-click on the control I want to change and typing in the key that I want to change it to. As an example, what happens when I left click is the button A box turns blue, says [waiting] for a tenth of a second, and does nothing except enter the letter z before "Input/2/Apple Internal Keyboard / Trackpad" in the Device dropdown, even though I didn't even select the Device dropdown. :/  HALP
