Can't add games to Dolphin 5.0

I have spent hours trying to watch videos and add games to my dolphin 5.0. When you have a ROM and you browse and it's suppose to find the game, it doesn't find anything. Even when I select it anyway and its't suppose to auto populate, nothing ever shows up. Also tried to just run it or open it and all I get are error codes. my SNES and 64 emulator work perfect but I can't get Dolphin to work. Also for some reason all my games have little dolphin icons and not white pages like they are suppose to.
Any help is appreciated.

What errors are you getting? Also sounds like you set dolphin as the default program to open .iso's with.

You shouldn't set Dolphin to be the default app to open game dumps with. That causes problems. Especially since the common iso format is shared by many more things than GC/Wii games.
