Hello! So I have some emulators I own and I just got a really new beefy computer.  I see videos on youtube where the player is playing a classic game but extremely pretty and hd... For example

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqCkeoClUXc

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbbh_EIEJjo

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3eosNaxRR8

High Resolution and 60fps Is amazing. Thankfully I own all of these games so I can go and experience this myself.  I would also love to see a game called Endless Ocean 2 run in HD.

My question is how do I do this.  I have fumbled around with the settings but havent been able to achieve much with it.  Also I do not understand what these HD texture pacs are.  Do I want one for each of those 4 games?  If so how do I install them?

Also I am having the hardest time with my dolphin bar.  I have it to the point where my wii remote can move the mouse.. But nothing more.  I dont think dolphin recognizes it, or I dont have the dolphin bar in the right mode?

Thanks Much!

The most important setting for this is the internal resolution setting, which you can find at Graphics > Enhancements > Internal Resolution. The Enhancements tab also lets you set some other settings that can make games look prettier, like anti-aliasing.

HD texture packs are not needed to run games in higher resolution, but they can be used to improve the graphics quality by making textures more detailed. The reason that they are called "HD" texture packs is that the low-quality textures that are used by default in GC/Wii games often are detailed enough to look fine in SD, but not in higher resolutions. Not all games have texture packs available though, because it takes time and effort for people to remake textures.

I know very little about the Dolphin Bar, but I think the mode where it acts as a mouse is the wrong one. There should be a mode that gives the Wii Remote's input directly to Dolphin instead of having movements translated to mouse movements.
