Can somebody tell me where to place custom textures?

I know this might seem like a really stupid question to most of you but I'm kinda new to Dolphin and I have found 0 helpful answers online. People have said to create user/load/textures and then dump the textures in there. But that's extremely vague. Where do I place this? How do I dump the textures in? Do I dump the folder holding the textures in there or do I copy and paste the textures into there? I'm trying to add Xbox 360 control textures for Xenoblade Chronicles. So basically,

- Where do I even create this folder to begin with? My Dolphin folder is on my desktop. Do I create it in there?
- When I do create it, what exactly do I name each folder? Is it just user/load/textures or is there more?
- Once that's created, do I just dump the folder holding the textures in there or do I copy and paste it in there?

Seems you´re using old builds, by the description you gave. First of all, update to latest dev build on dolphin.emu.org/download. Then:

1- Locate the Dolphin Emulator folder on My Documents.

2- Go to Load/Textures.

3- Put the custom textures there.

Thanks for replying. I'm using the newest build. I downloaded Dolphin 4.0-2135 yesterday from their site.

1. I have a Dolphin folder on my desktop but thanks for confirming that's where I'm supposed to dump the textures (some place online were saying to dump it in the games folder).
2. So User is unneeded? It's just Load/Textures?
3. Do I dump the individual files in there or the folder they're in? They're in a folder called SX4P01, but inside that folder is all the individual files (pictures). Do I dump the folder or pictures in textures?

That same folder (SX4P01) should be copied (or simply moved) to Load/Textures.

Long, long before, Dolphin implemented a system called Global User Directory. It saves the configs you select among revisions so you don´t have to do it again when updating.
