Can only connect 3 wiimotes

Hello Dolphin forum. I have a problem, I recently got Dolphin emulator and it's really great however I cannot connect any more than 3 Wiimotes, the first 3 usually connect fine but then when i try to connect the 4th nothing happens when I use Dolphin (pressing 1+2 then clicking 'pair up').

When i use windows to 'add a device' on bluetooth it only comes up as 'Input Device' and not Nintendo-RVL-CNT-01 so when I click next it naturally says it didn't install correctly and Dolphin doesn't recognize it.

Sometimes if I turn them all off again and try to add them in a different order they are recognized by Windows when I do 'Pair Up' but then it says it did not install correctly (the first one I pair up usually works fine however) and the Nintendo RVL-CNT has the yellow triangle on it notifying an error.

So has anyone had these problems or does anyone know of a sure fire way to get them all recognized?

Thanks a lot!

Sometimes this is due to the bluetooth dongle hardware. It is a bit unusual for 3 to connect. Usually dongles with this problem only allow one wiimote to connect at a time.

Maybe I should just count myself lucky even getting 3 connected, it's a £1.60 Bluetooth dongle so I wasn't even that hopeful any would work. Still if anyone knows a work around to get the 4th connected I would appreciate it. Would a more expensive bluetooth dongle be more likely to work with 4?

Might be a good idea to look in the compatible hardware list:

I recently posted this in a similar thread, but I have to say I also had the same problem.
I don't know exactly why, but when I made a special application especially for connecting multiple Wiimotes at a time, it seems to work perfectly.
Man, i feel like "advertising" my software... I only want to help people ^^.
