$550 is a fairly average budget for a Dolphin machine, I would stretch it up to $600 or $700 it's worth it

They'd be more expensive, plus putting together your own box is a great learning experience.

Ummm that might be true other days but not today. They have a i5-4670k + radeon 7990 for $1259 (Of course there are other parts)

But we're not going for a goddamn 7990, are we? We'd likely want the whole build to cost $600-800, not just the GPU.

He was willing to go that high so I don't really think so....


Also the gpu cost under $100 if you put all the savings into the gpu.
