you want to use a thumb drive for dolphin gc/wii saves? wii saves no as they are stored under \user\wii\title\ . gc would be possible just put your gc mem card files on the drive and point dolphin at them under config->gamecube->device settings->slot A (or B)->memory card. well for wii i guess you could use state saves and just store them on the drive?
Where do I find the memory card files? (Sorry if you said this already, Its late when I'm reading this. Sorry)

You can choose where to store wii saves (as well as all wii nand items (sysmenu, installed titles, etc) I wouldn't recommend setting it to a thumb drive though Dolphin > Options > Configure... > Paths >Wii NAND Root 08-05-2011, 02:30 PM
I kind of meant like, what do you use as a memory card, and can a Thumb Drive qualify, and if not, what can?
