Some games (RE4) seem to have performance issues when using quick save/save states, and i like to have multiple saves. Can more memory cards be used?

I would be very cautious of savestates, they can be corrupted. I guess you could make copies of your memory cards, but what exactly are you trying to do?

My goal is to have more in-game save slots available.
I prefer not to use save states, as they seem to cause a random, drastic performance drops in RE4.

Making cooy of mem card folder is of course a solution, but i want something that doesn't require exiting the emulator. Can i have 2 memory card available at the same time?

You can have two memory cards available at the same time, one in Slot A and one in Slot B, but not all games support using Slot B. If the game doesn't, or you want more than two memory cards, you'll have to copy/move/rename the memory cards using a file manager app.

Ah, right, I guess that isn't available in the Android GUI...

In Dolphin.ini, there should be a setting named SlotA which is set to either 1 (raw memory card) or 8 (GCI folder). Change SlotB (which should be right next to it) to 1 or 8.

EDIT: It is actually available in the Android GUI. Just go to Config > GameCube > GameCube Slot B Device.

Either works. If you want my personal suggestion, I'd say pick the same as for slot A.

Thank you so much for your assistance. Doesn't work though. It seems Re4 is one of those games that doesn't use Slot B. I can't switch between them in game Sad
