Hi, I can run Dolphin on my desktop (Semprom 2.3ghz, 3gb Ram, GF8600gt) but really slow. I might change my proc and add some ram on it, but thats not my question. I whanna buy a netbook just to carry arround use for study and job (MSSQL and VB2010) and maybe play some games. The other day I saw this HP DM1-2060la at a shop and I think that it might run dolphin. This are the specs:
Proc AMD k325 (something like that) dual core 1.6.
2gb of ram (Exp up to 5)
video HD4250 (up to 1gb).

Sence My video card is similar (I might be wrong on this one), mi desktop has only one core 1.3ghz, and i can add some ram to the netbook.
Has anyone try to run dolphin on a notebook like this one?

If you do, please reply and I'll buy it Big Grin

For a netbook, it isn't That bad...
but... I don't think it will run Dolphin pretty well.
my CPU score is around 1850 overclocked,
and yours is only 760...
Well, maybe gamecube games would run pretty decent, and some 2d wii games... Donkey Kong Country Returns, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Muramasa... Don't expect much.
It would run games like Super Mario Galaxy with 24-27% speed or something XD

Unless your cpu is based on the Phenom architecture it's basically old tech, even less powerful than an Athlon64 and an Athlon64 X 2 especially since it's a laptop/netbook processor. Don't expect good speeds, you'd be lucky to get half speed in most games. The minimum recommended clock speed for Dolphin is 2.8 Ghz - 3.0 Ghz, processor architecture also matters and plays a part in overall performance.

Thanks for your reploys , I think that I still go with it, sence betweens netbooks y is the most powerful I saw, excludong the Alienware M11x that costs twice the price.
