can i play a wii game with emulated gamecube controller?

hi is there a way to use the gcpad configuration to play wii games on the dolphin so i dont have to use swing and stuff i have a ps3 controller fully customized to work with gamecube controller i just dont know how i can do that if its even possible

If the game supports GameCube controllers, you just have to configure an emulated GameCube controller as if you're using it with a GameCube game. If not, it won't work.
