You should change the title : "Can I destroy my Laptop? "
Laptop cooling design and laptop mobo are no good for overclocking except those expensive-heavy gaming laptop (1200$ and up) You must pay for "SetFSB" if you wanna burn your laptop Laptop: Youtube Channel (Vintage Tech/Watches) :: 06-09-2012, 04:33 AM

Even expensive gaming laptops tend not to handle overclocking well. Laptop cooling is designed with VERY tight limitations in mind, and tends to be at the perfect cooling level for stock --- overclocking needs a whole lot of extra cooling.
And not to mention power draw..... The big reason for more cores/less speed is that ATM it takes 2x power to double cores..... but it takes something like 4x power to double clockspeed.
Back from the grave and working on textures.
