Can I move Miis without moving the NAND? Or instead install a fresh NAND?

Apparently I have a corrupt NAND, because everything works except accessing the Wii System menu - this throws "Invalid Read" errors like crazy.

I know I can move my game saves to a new install, but I'll lose the Miis and Mii-related saves.

Is there a way to either:

1) Transfer the Miis to a new install, without taking the bad NAND?

or

2) Install a fresh NAND (NAND repair does not fix the issue, nor does a system update) so I can again access the Wii System menu?

Thanks...

I believe you can transfer the Miis by copying the shared2/menu/FaceLib/RFL_DB.dat file in the NAND.
