Its my first post here so want to say hi to everyone.

Now the problem that i have is that the games that Im playing are 60fps games and even 1% speed drop is very noticeable (donkey kong country returns and super mario galaxy 2).

My desktop runs these games at full speed at all times (i5 2500K@4.6GHz and GTX 770 4GB)
but on my laptop im getting some very little speed drops.
My laptops specs are i7-4600HQ and GTX 870M.
When running Dolphin cpu stays at constant 3.2GHz.
So is there anything i can do to run these games at constant full speed or is that cpu just too weak.?
Thanks.

First, mobile CPUs are weaker than desktop counterparts. Second, you may be referring to small stutters that happen when games are played for the first time.

Another thing to consider is that one of your titles (SMG2) is very demanding, so even if the shaders are fully generated you may still suffer some small drops. Last but not least, watch out for overheating.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 800/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

There's a program called throttles top that can put the CPU in sustained Turbo mode. Check our performance guide for how to do that.

Tried throttlestop and it doesnt do anything. CPU doesnt throttle at all when running Dolphin as I said before it stays at constant 3.2GHz.
Temps are high but not high enough for throttling to kick in.

Did you verify that Dolphin is using the nvidia GPU? Not just in the dolphin settings tab, also in the nvidia control panel.

Sure. The power button that's above the keyboard turns red so it's something that cant be missed.
Also changing graphics settings doesn't do anything so its clearly the cpu.

you're playing an incredibly demanding game on laptop hardware, so yeah....
the best thing you can do is use the performance guide and laptop performance guide, and try lowering temperature if you think that might be a problem.
