I have read through the forums for months trying build after build and everything I can think of. I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Please move to correct forum if it but I'm a desperate man.

My dvd drive burned out on my wii and my boy loves GC games. I can't put them on usb loader so dolphin emulator is my only option. I can't get the zelda games (four swords and wind waker) to run at 100% full screen and people with less system specs than I have are making it work. I must be missing something. Here are my specs. Please help me know correct settings to make those GC zelda games work. Thanks

Intel dg33fb mobo
Core 2 Duo 6750 2.66 overclocked using to setfsb to 2.92 (anymore and I get blue screen)
4gb RAM
Windows 7 x64
gamebooster in gaming mode
XFX Geforce 9800 GT 512 MB using driver ver. 190.56

Please help me get this working for my 6 year old.

a lot of game cube games work just fine. both games you have said I have personally played in dolphin so you should be ok. 4 swords is really slow tho.

No offense friend and thanks for replying so quickly but this is exactly the type of post that I want to avoid. I've been told already that they "should" play at 100% but I can't get anyone to give me the exact settings to make them work so well.

I don't know what build to use. I don't know which video plugin to use (d3d or opengl) and I don't know the other settings either. I'm a complete novice and have tried just about everything. Last night I even switched from windows 7 x32 to windows 7 x64 just see if I could get those two games working like they should. No luck.

use the latest build available from compilers on the forums, use the d3d plugin, other audio off in the dsp settings, antialiasing and antitropic filtering off, lowest resolution settings and native resolution checked, dual core enabled, i think thats everything.

Thats weird. Well Render to main windows may give you 1 fps or so. How many frames are you getting?

It usually floats around 50% 35/60 FPS

I don't get it. I just rebuilt my whole PC using windows 7 x64 and I can't get GC games to run like they should.

semi-offtopic: Do you know that when the wii enter in gc mode ( when using mios ) It can't access to sd's or usb devices , right ? ( EDIT: that mean that you can't use USBloader )

NOTE: I don't have a wii Tongue

ON-topic: change your build and see if something happens

I'm confused what this has to do with this thread?
