Okay. Yes, I've searched and couldn't find a fix for my problems.
I got my Wii back today, and immediately installed BannerBomb and The Homebrew Channel.
To my dismay, seems my brother has decided to update the Wii's system menu to V4.2E.
I was worried this would prevent me from NAND dumping the system. I was right.
I decided to dump the NAND to the SD card.
I've tried using Yet Another Wii NAND Dumper but this fails with Error -04 (Failed to read from NAND) - or something like that. I'd imagine Nintendo put a lock in place to stop users from doing this.
I then tried WiiND, this just shows 'Dumping NAND' for a fraction of a second and disappears without completing the NAND Dump.
Now I don't know what's going on here or why my Wii can't be NAND dumped. It's a UK PAL Wii.
I've heard of BootMii but I hear it's also irreversible and requires a Gamecube controller which I don't have and neither do any of my friends.
Please help!
