for some reason the c stick isnt working for wind waker. I can move the camera with the c stick, but when it comes to conducting it doesn't work at all. I'm using an Xbox 360 controller. Ive tried setting the c stick on the keyboard, and the left joystick but still no luck. Dead zone is set on 25. It works fine for other games, like smashing in Melee but not in wind waker. Im using dolphin version 4.0 1246.

Put the dead zone to 0, as when it's set to 50 I'm pretty sure it's covering the entire zone.

Okay, but what im saying is that the whole controller isnt being detected with this new version. NONE of the buttons work on the latest build. Do i have to uninstall the old version? and if i do will all of my saved files transfer over? 08-18-2014, 09:43 PM
I have had to delete the gcpad.ini before when upgrading. Feel free to first back it up if this does not work for you. When deleting it, make sure the emulator is not running, then go in and re configure the buttons. If it lets you do that, you should be back to what you had or complete working now.

SOLVED! For anyone playingLLegend of Zelda wind waker, put the threshold on the C-stick to at least 80. If not the free camera will roam slowly and you will not be able to use the wind waker which is the main key to the game
I though dolpinh had a limit zone? Guess not, well done.
