Buying fake wiimotes

There's 3 3rd party wiimotes I know of with built-in motion plus and I figure you'd need that, Nyko's probably your best bet. As for compatibility with Dolphin, don't take my word for it, but I think you'll have to set controller to 'emulated wiimote' and configure the buttons manually. Bluetooth should work the same.
If you're buying a fake nunchuck too consider Nykos wireless one.

Barely any life can be squeezed out of 3rd party wiimotes, so if possible get a nintendo one. If it doesn't work when set to real wiimote, then there's no way to manually configure it under emulated wiimote, so deoxy was wrong about that.

I assumed so because the wiimote is listed as a game controller in CP.... but none of my other emulators recognise it so I was wrong.
Does the nyko wireless nunchuck work with dolphin?

Any nunchuck which connects to the plug on the bottom of the wiimote in some way should be fine, but again I can't guarantee anything.

well i went to the Compatible wii Hardware List thread, read the reviews and bought these:
random cheap usb BT adapter: Bluetooth Wii IR (i have read the reviews and it has been said to work with dolphin): Wireless Sensor Wiimote+built-in motionplus+nunchuck(has been mentioned in the thread above also in the reviews): Wiimote its probably gonna take about a month for them to arrive , but when i get them ill probably post a review of what works and what doesnt. 08-28-2012, 08:00 AM

At least not in my first try. I've lent it to a friend of mine and he tested it at his Wii and it worked though. He'll give it back to me tomorrow and i'll test it again at the computer (hopefully using it first at the Wii will change something). 09-07-2012, 05:58 AM

My original remotes work fine with Dolphin, but one i bought recently (it is either fake, refurbished or the Japanese version - it came in a Japanese official looking box), disconnects after a few seconds. I noticed that it also took longer to initially connect as a bluetooth device... so beware!
