Hello,
I am looking to buy an adapter for my gamecube controllers. I want to know which one have you all tested and can verify as working. (Reviews don't help on amazon)

(I've heard that this one is really good, but I want to know if it supports the analog L/R buttons?)
Option 1: http://www.amazon.com/Gamecube-XBox-Controller-Adapter--favorite-PC/dp/B000ND3XXA/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1381390362&sr=1-2&keywords=GC+Controller+Adaptor

Option 2: http://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/gc_n64_usb_adapters/index.php?category=Adapters

Option 3: http://www.amazon.com/GC-Controller-Adapter-PC/dp/B0089NVTDM/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1381390362&sr=1-1&keywords=GC+Controller+Adaptor

Any help would be appreciated.

I have used the mayflash wii classic controller adapter on OS X. It says for PC only but it was just plug and play basically. Well you had to reset it a few times in the config part of dolphin and map the buttons (which is easy to do). But past that apart from the odd rest or pulling out the plug and putting it back in it works just fine. Feels just the same as using the wii classic controller I have (official nintendo one) on the wii.

So I would assume the GC mayflash adapter would work just the same way. The one you linked is the one I'd get. Just make sure you get the latest version of it. As the older versions are not plug and play (for the most part as I described above). I think the one you linked is the latest version of it. I have not used the other two types. I took a punt of the mayflash one for Wii and it worked. The GC one "should" would just the same.

I've got two of this one, and have been playing multiplayer games with 4x Gamecube controllers through Dolphin:

http://www.amazon.com/GC-Controller-Adapter-PC/dp/B0089NVTDM/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1381390362&sr=1-1&keywords=GC+Controller+Adaptor

It supports all the default features of the GC controller, though the rumble function might bug out on occasion (I'm unsure of whether this is the fault of the adapter or Dolphin). It basically turns rumble to maximum for a few seconds, and then goes back to working like normal. It doesn't really bother me.

May flash has a lot of troubles with bugs mainly because they use drivers. Personally I think the best adapters are HID based devises like I make in my sig ( same design as http://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/gc_...y=Adapters we contribute to each other) . There are also many cheaper options out there as well. If you contact mayflash they should be able to provide you with a driver update or patch. I here many people here have had good success with that.

So does it support the analog function of the L/R buttons? I've heard many stories of it not. :/ Could you shed some light on this?

Hey, Sepulcher, as I mentioned mayflash did correct there problems and yes people on this board did vouch to that. However because its a driver device it may not be true on all operating systems.

Though In my experiences, If you want an X to work %100 go with a someone that is not motivated with money (i.e raphnet and mine). If you want to save money, go with someone that is motivated with money (mayflash).

Problem with the money motivated types is, you need to wait until they get around to fixing a problem. We had problems with may-flash for a good year or two before they finally fixed things. Button mapping issues, vibration not working, and L/R issues.

FYI: the raphnet/Bliss-box projects will soon have memory pack operations.

As someone who's used the Mayflash, and talked about the Raphnet with other users through a Melee Online group, I can tell you honestly how they work with dolphin.

Mayflash two port (you're third link) works perfectly with dolphin and has two controller ports. It has working L/R Analog.
Raphnet ALSO works perfectly with dolphin, but is slightly more responsive with its higher price. According to users who have both, it is the best possible PC adapter.
The first Mayflash with multiple controllers (Xbox, PS2, GC) does not properly support Analog R and L. I hope that helps you.
